Neighborhood Watch

Last year, a group of residents from the historic center of Guardia Sanframondi joined the Associazione Nazionale Controllo di Vicinato (ANCDV) as a participating community, after a brief discussion with the Mayor’s office.

We know from experience that Neighborhood Watch programs are a highly effective way to keep neighborhoods safe, quiet, and well-monitored. We may be a small group, but we look out for one another.

This year, the Prefect of Benevento and the Mayor of Guardia signed the “Neighborhood Watch” protocol for the entire town, to strengthen collaboration between citizens and law enforcement. As announced on the Comune’s website, the Administration is seeking volunteers to serve as COORDINATORS for each neighborhood.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please let us know below, and we’ll help connect you to the appropriate contact at the Comune.
