Community Proposal for the Historic Center
In April 2026, Guardia Viva! submitted a formal community proposal to the Municipal Administration of Guardia Sanframondi, setting out a shared vision for the regeneration of the historic centre.
The proposal is the result of three structured community meetings held between December 2025 and March 2026, bringing together 44 residents to identify priorities, debate ideas, and agree on a phased plan of action. Six broad areas emerged from the process: improving cleanliness and urban maintenance; enhancing safety, accessibility and sustainable mobility; promoting aesthetic and landscape improvements; strengthening community life and social spaces; supporting tourism and local promotion; and stimulating economic development and the recovery of historic buildings.
The document presented to the Administration outlines both short-term actions that can begin immediately and longer-term initiatives that require planning, coordination, and investment. It is offered in a spirit of open dialogue, and we hope it marks the beginning of a productive partnership between our community and local government.
