Beginner Italian Lessons
A Free Community Course at the Heart of the Centro Storico
Language is the first bridge into a community. For anyone who has moved to Guardia Sanframondi — or is thinking about it — learning Italian transforms daily errands into conversations, neighbors into friends, and visitors into residents. That's why Guardia Viva!, the Comune di Guardia Sanframondi, and the Biblioteca Comunale have come together to offer free, in-person beginner Italian lessons in the heart of the Centro Storico.
The course is taught by Marilina Mucci, who is generously donating her time to make these lessons possible. Grazie, Marilina!

Why this matters
The revitalization of the Centro Storico isn't only about stone, mortar, and shuttered doors reopening — it's about the people who live, work, and gather here. By lowering the language barrier, we help new arrivals feel at home faster, deepen the connections between long-time locals and recent residents, and keep the Italian spoken in our piazzas vibrant and shared.
